Story of Akonita
The leader of a great matriarchal civilization, a ruthless enemy, capable of covert sabotage and devious plans, — Bedazzling Akonita!
Akonita brings up an energy shield that can only be destroyed by blowing up mines. When the shield is destroyed, Akonita loses a few spark particles, depending on the phase of the battle. Each character can pick up one spark particle from each destroyed shield. Pick up three spark particles to assume Divine Form.
Akonita launches energy spheres at targets of her choosing, inflicting damage on impact. Run for your life.
Akonita mounts the throne and brings up a shield that makes her invulnerable to attacks. The rotating pedestal of the throne has three laser cannons, damaging any character caught in the lasers'path. The throne also generates an energy pulse from time to time, knocking all characters away.
The Battlefield of Akonita
Akonita’s battle area is a relatively small circular arena, surrounded by Gorgonide Eggs that will spawn snakes if they are hit by any of Akonita’s attacks.
In this phase the characters land in the arena, and a few seconds later Akonita emerges from her throne. During this phase Akonita only uses the Ball Lightning, and her spin attack.
3 God spark particles are dropped during this phase, enough for only 1 player to transform into their Divine form. The God must destroy up to 3 purple snakes that bind and damage their fellow immortals, while the rest of the team must use mines that they have deactivated earlier in order to destroy at least one of the surrounding energy orbs and create a safe zone, if a safe zone isn’t created, the party will be wiped out.
When the first God phase ends, Akonita emerges from her throne again. In this phase, Akonita will use a dash attack that targets a random immortal, and knocks aside everyone in her way, while also dealing damage.
6 God spark particles are dropped during this phase, enough for only 2 players to transform into their Divine form. The Gods must destroy up to 6 purple snakes that bind and damage their fellow immortals, while the rest of the team must use the disabled mines to to create a safe zone like they did in phase one, if a safe zone is not created, the party will be wiped out.
At the end of the second god phase, Akonita emerges from her throne ones again, in this phase her attacks remain unchanged, but they are faster and more ferocious than before.
9 God spark particles are dropped during this phase, enough for 3 players to transform into their Divine form. during this phase the Gods and immortals must create a safe zone, if a safe zone is not created, the party will be wiped out. Up to 9 purple snakes will appear during this phase, and it’s up to the party to decide if the non god party members are to be rescued or left to die for the sake of creating the safe zone.
During this phase, Akonita emerges from her throne and recovers all of her missing health, while also stunning and damaging all immortals that are not in their Divine form.
After healing, Akonita gains a 60% damage reduction effect and engages the 3 Gods from the previous phase. 20 seconds into the fight, Gorgonide patrol drones will appear on the edges of the arena and begin moving toward the center, the 3 gods will have a total of 60 seconds to eliminate Akonita, if they fail, the party will be wiped out.
Difference between the Champion and Training Avatar
Difference between the Champion Avatar and Training Avatar
The Training Avatar of Akonita is not that different from the Champion avatar. A few small differences in the Training Avatar instance are:
- Akonita deals less damage
- you need fewer mines for the God phase
- No God damage reduction during the Kill phase
How do I get the God Sparks?
If Akonita get the Ether Armor effect you need to destroy the Shield with one of the mines, and you have 3 decision:
- Akonita spins and destroys one or more mines. – Bad if more mines are hit
- Akonita stays near one of the mines and someone go through the mine. The mine explodes, you get damage and Akonita drops a Spark particle. – Best Option
- After a few seconds, nearly 15 seconds, a mine will explode and if the mine explosion hits Akonita, you are lucky. – Time lost Option also not good
