Story of Thanatos

Thanatos, Great God and leader of the Reapers of Death. Thanatos is the physical incarnation of death. Thanatos is also believed to have been responsible for the disappearance of Aeli. Having enslaved several worlds with his mighty armies, Thanatos now has his eyes set on Aelion. We must pray that our brave Gods, and Immortals can withstand him. Boss Abilities

Stage 1: Humanoid Thanatos

Battlefield of Stage 1

You will first meet Thanatos in his human form, in a big circular arena.

Thanatos runs up to a random player and strikes them with a powerful blow his a sword, from which you cannot dodge.

Thanatos rushes towards a random team member, grabs them with his ghostly hand and begins to strangle them, causing a considerable amount of damage.

If you are quick enough, you have a small chance to escape from Thanatos’s grip.

After a short while, if you have not escaped, Thanatos will throw the player on the ground and deal a powerful finishing strike.

Thanatos summons helpers that strengthen his attacks and slowly restore his health.

Thanatos disappears from view of all players, hiding in the shadows, and after a while reappears and attacks the a random player with a powerful blow from his sword, generating an expanding shock wave.

Thanatos disappears from view of all players, hiding in the shadows, and after a while reappears in the air above a random player.

Thanatos will then slam down on the ground, causing a significant amount of damage in the area he landed, throwing back all players caught in the area of the attack, who did not run away in time.

Stage 2: Thanatos' Hand

Battlefield of Stage 2

Is a arena with 5 Platforms where the platform can be destroyed by Thanatos during the battle.

Thanatos concentrates the energy of death, into a destructive ray, which will follow a random player. This ray deals considerable amounts of damage and will disintegrate  the platform in path it hits.

If more than 50% of a platform gets disintegrated (or key points of a platform are destroyed) the platform will collapse and fall apart completely, killing anyone left standing on it.

Thanatos’s Ghostly hand, targets a random player, then slams down on top of them, causing a significant amount of damage. There is a warning before this happens, so you can dodge it, if you’re paying attention.
Once his hand has hit the platform, it was remain stuck in the platform for a short period of time, and can receive damage from players who are close enough to attack it.

If you inflict enough damage to the ghostly hand during Hand of Thanatos phase, a God spark particle will fall out, and land on one of the platforms. God spark particles can be absorbed by getting close to it.

If you do not collect the particle fast enough, it will return to Thanatos Ghostly hand, and you will have to knock another God spark particle out of his hand, the next time it lands, to be able to continue.

Thanatos summons a Servant to each platform. Throughout course of battle, he will summon more and more powerful Servants.

Thanatos provides each of his summoned Servants with a particle of his divine energy. After a while, if the Servant has not been destroyed, they will explode, blowing up the platform on which they stand.

Thanatos conjured a piece of broken platform, sets fire to it and throws it at a random player. Players in the center of the impact are immobilized and trapped in the ground. Other players are required to release them. Players caught on the periphery of the attack will be thrown aside.

Around three random player, three glowing flasks will appear. After a short delay, these flasks will explode and cause damage to all players in close enough proximity to them.

Stage 3: Final Battle

Battlefield of Stage 3

Now that a player has collected the necessary amount of God spark particles, everyone will move to a big arena, where you can fight the Incarnation of Death himself. – Thanatos

They will slowly restore Thanatos health. The Reapers are immune to damage, but they can be controlled with the help of the abilities of the players on the team.

The player who absorbed the God spark particles dropped from the hand in the previous round, will be in their Divine form at the start of this round.

A short while after participating in the phase Aegis, the player in their Divine form, will lose their God spark and return to their immortal form. In the Champion instance, after a short while, a God spark will reappear, until it does, you should focus on controlling the Reapers and your teams survivability.

The player in their Divine form is required to stand inline withe Thanatos’s View’s ray  and activate their temporary ability Aegis to reflect this ray back at Thanatos, stunning Thanatos, and knocking him to the platform for a short time.

During the period that Thanatos is stunned, is when the player in their Divine form needs to burst out as much damage against Thanatos as possible, before he recovers, and resumes his attacks from the previous phases of this round.
